Our IT Administrator (Odoo Emphasis) is responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining EPS computer systems and networks, including hardware and software, ensuring smooth operation, managing network servers, and upholding data security by performing tasks like backups and access control, while also troubleshooting technical issues and providing user support; essentially acting as the primary caretaker of the organization’s IT infrastructure to support its goals and user needs. The ideal candidate will also possess a strong understanding of database and ERP systems (specifically Odoo), and data management skills. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can handle multiple projects simultaneously, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure our ERP system effectively supports business processes and objectives. The knowledge in how to manage our ERP system (Odoo) and providing first level of support is key.

Your Day To Day

• Installing, configuring, and updating operating systems, applications, and network hardware on servers and workstations.
• Maintaining network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and managing network security protocols across multiple locations.
• Implementing and managing data backup strategies to ensure data integrity and disaster recovery capabilities.
• Diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues reported by users.
• Managing user accounts, permissions, and access controls to maintain system security.
• Applying software updates and security patches to systems to mitigate vulnerabilities.
• Monitoring system performance and identifying potential issues before they impact users.
• Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation on system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides as well as tutorials.
• Implementing and enforcing security policies to protect sensitive data, as well as ensuring adherence to contracted data security policies.
• Manage and maintain the Odoo ERP system, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Ensure data quality through data cleansing, migration, and validation processes, maintaining accurate information across the ERP system.
• Lead ERP-related projects from initiation to completion, juggling multiple priorities and ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Work closely with all departments to align ERP functionalities with business needs and drive process improvements.
• Provide technical support for users, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with vendors when necessary.
• Conduct training sessions for end-users to ensure proficiency in processes.
• Participate in QA testing for new ERP functionalities and deployments, ensuring smooth rollouts and high standards.
• Acts as the primary escalation point for the Odoo ERP system issues, working directly with external providers to resolve any issues that arise.
• Use Odoo Studio to customize the system and its features according to business requirements.
• Stay informed about Odoo updates and best practices.
• Assist with other IT tasks as assigned.

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any field, preferred CS, IT.
• 1 – 2 Years experience with Odoo.
• Strong knowledge of database management and ERP systems.
• Familiarity with manufacturing or distribution ERP modules and processes, with hands-on experience managing serialized items.
• Understanding of data management principles, including data migration and data quality assurance.
• Technical experience with QA processes and software deployment is a plus.
• Proven ability to manage multiple ERP projects, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and deliver projects on time.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems (Windows, Linux), server administration, and hardware.
• Ability to analyze complex technical issues and troubleshoot effectively.
• Clear communication with both technical and non-technical users to explain complex issues and solutions.
• Ability to meticulously manage system configurations and maintain accurate documentation.
• Keeping up-to-date with emerging technologies and adapting to changing IT landscapes.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Enthusiasm for learning and exploring new technologies.
• Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and multi-task with minimal supervision.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP reporting and analytics tools.
• Familiarity with integration platforms and API-based data integrations.
• Knowledge of software development or coding (Python, XML) for customization within Odoo.

Your Work Environment 

Henderson, NV. Most work will be performed in an office environment. Travel is estimated at a 5% level.

Pay: The annual base salary range for this position in Nevada is $75,000 – $85,000. For states not referenced here, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. EPS considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer or future pay increases.
