Who We Are Looking For
An EPS Applications Engineer’s main responsibility is to communicate complex technical requirements to clients using non-technical methods, including written briefs, drawings, renderings, animations, and other relevant visual means. They do this by providing technical guidance and support to the Sales team and helping to achieve sales targets. As Applications Engineer, you facilitate communication between Account Executives and the client, to ensure a feasible deliverable in fabrication and installation, as well as liaising between the Sales team and Design, to communicate expectations for contracted deliverables. The Applications Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and creating collateral by understanding customer needs, customizing solutions, and ensuring the smooth communication of design expectations within a client’s environment; essentially acting as a bridge between the Design team and the customer to optimize and address specific requirements.
Your Day to Day

Take a leading role in developing visual collateral for sales efforts from a design approach.

Gathering detailed customer requirements, analyzing their needs, and presenting tailored solutions.

Create comprehensive, detailed sales support documentation and coordinate proposals with other members of the Sales team.

Engage with clients to gather and interpret requirements, ensuring designs meet or exceed expectations.

Demonstrate the core values and purpose of the organization.
- Work with teams from other departments, such as operations, project management, design fabrication, technical opera)ons, and technology.

A-end essential sales training meetings and develop an understanding of all the company’s services and products.

Contribute to overall customer satisfaction by promptly answering emails and handling customers by phone.

Keeping abreast of new technologies, industry trends, and so/ware development methodologies

Coordination and collaboration with the Design team during both the project bid phase as well as the design/fabrication stages of projects.

Effectively collaborate with the Sales team and all other departments, stakeholders, and EPS’s strategic partners.

Prepare technical elements of proposals and presentations.

Design and conduct EPS product presentations and demonstrations, which include but are not limited to internal workshops and external exhibitions.

Demonstrate the values of the strategic plan, vision, and mission of the organization.

Your Qualifications
-
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related.

Energetic, with strong interpersonal skills.

Ability to collaborate with all levels of technical users and management.

Aptitude for solving engineering problems.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Experience that demonstrates complete understanding of controls applications and integration in various electronic systems.

Capable of communicating complex technical material and articulating it to non-technical people.

ETCP: Theater Rigging preferred.
-
Rhino: Level 2 Certification preferred.
- AutoCAD drafting experience: preferred 1+ year.
- Inventor (or equivalent) experience: preferred 3+ years.
- Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator experience: preferred 3+ years.
- Working knowledge of Microso/ Office Suite and general CRM database experience.
- Demonstrated ability to assist executive leadership and sales representatives with any additional work as needed.
- Be strongly skilled in organization, problem-solving, customer service, and multitasking while being commited to excellence.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines,
- Proficiency in relevant so/ware and technologies.

Your Work Environment
This is an in-person role in our Henderson, NV, preferred. Remote candidates will be considered. Most work will be performed in an office environment. Travel is estimated at a 20% level. Pay: The annual base salary range for this position in Nevada is $80,000 – $100,000. For states not referenced here, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. EPS considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer or future pay increases.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday.
- Weekends as needed.
