Education:

BFA in Scenic Technology, University of North Carolina School of the Arts

First introduction to the industry:

I’ve been doing technical theatre in school since I was in kindergarten, where I moved a telephone during a scene change. Having dabbled in all areas backstage, I chose to go to school for technical direction.

What I listen to at work:

I usually listen to podcasts while designing, but I’ll sometimes listen to soundtracks too.

Dream Vacation:

Europe. I went to Ireland when I was young, and I’d like to go back plus a few other countries.

When I'm not at work...

I’m going to the movie theatre, hanging out with my family, or driving around randomly.
