Jake Nathan joined EPS in 2022 as a Technical Coordinator. Throughout his professional career, Jake served as part of the technical crew on some of Las Vegas’ biggest stage productions, starting with “O” before moving onto all of the other Cirque du Soleil showrooms within MGM Resorts properties. His experience spans all aspects of show rigging and fall protection systems, as well as mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems both at height and underwater. Before joining EPS, Jake refined his technical design skills creating structural mockups for the film and television industry.
First introduction to the industry:
I first got into theatre in high school. I followed the passion in college and landed a job with Cirque du Soleil. I’ve been involved in live entertainment or film/TV ever since.
What I listen to at work:
Usually, I listen to chill or upbeat electronic stuff while designing. Sometimes I’ll need some hard rock/metal. Just depends on the mood.
I’d like to go lots of places. I think Italy and Germany are pretty high on my list. I’ve never been to Hawaii and I think that needs to change.
When I'm not at work...
I’m wood working, shooting pool or digging deep into flight simulators or other nerdy video games.
