Jeremy Borbon joined EPS in 2021. In his role as Technical Coordinator, Jeremy works with the project management team to ensure that EPS solutions exceed client expectations, both by design and real-world application and installation. Over his decade-long career in technical production, Jeremy has managed scenic shop work including carpentry and fabrication, overseen rigging and set design for dozens of theatre productions, and operated and maintained large scale theatrical automation systems for one of the biggest companies in Las Vegas entertainment, Cirque du Soleil.
First introduction to the industry:
I had always been exposed to live entertainment and theatre growing up, with very little interest in it at the time. However, after I took a “work study” job in the theatre department scene shop in undergrad, I got addicted to entertainment production and more specifically automation.
What I listen to at work:
Anything that strikes my fancy at the time.
A few years ago my wife, daughter, and I did a week-long tour of the North Carolina Barbecue Society’s Historic Barbecue Trail. Though we have certainly been on more glamorous trips, this was one of my favorites.
When I'm not at work...
I’m sitting in a comfy recliner watching a movie.
My preschool-aged daughter who keeps me on my toes.
